Assembly

We are so proud of our certificate winners at todays junior assembly!

And our Allenton School Aroha Ambassadors

An Allenton School Aroha Ambassador is someone who always shows Aroha to others.  They know how to be a kind friend.  If you are lonely or have no one to play with then you can go up to someone with a yellow band and they will play with you and include you in their games.

Mystery Number Skype

Today was our turn to guess the mystery number that Room15 had chosen.

It was lots of fun trying to work it out.

We need to remember that if we are speaking we use a loud voice so the other classroom can hear us.

Briar and David asked some great questions.
Was it an even number? Yes
Was it less than 52? No
Did it have a 7 in it? No
Was it between 60 and 70? Yes
Was it 68? No
Was it 66? No
Was it 64? YES!

Well done everyone!

Skype- what's my number

Today we had our first ever Skype session.  It was with Room 15. They had to guess the number that our group had chosen.

We all had different jobs to do. We had leaders, speakers, runners and number-board controllers.

Well done Room 15 on asking great questions and being able to guess our number.

At the end we did a PMI chart -
Plus- We thought it was a good game and that Room 15 got the number
Minus- Some people were calling out, we couldn't hear properly, some were yelling
Interesting- that we need to fix the sound.

Next time Mrs Aberhart is going to get someone else to take the photos as I didn't have enough time to stop and take them myself!

We are looking forward to next week when we can try and guess their mystery number!
